The below is not an exhaustive list of the changes that we’ve put in place but those that are key to your time visiting with us.
General changes
Visitors: We’ll be operating a one-way system, whereby, guests will come into the pub by the front door and exit via the conservatory. Please wait to be taken to your table, please do not approach the bar. We will also have clear signage indicating the changes within the pub.
Bar: Please do not approach the bar, we will be running table service ONLY. We’re afraid that it will not be possible to drink at the bar and we strongly recommend making a booking.
Staff: Every member of staff will be trained in new health and hygiene procedures and their specific responsibility to guests and colleagues. Staff temperatures will be taken daily before work.
Dining arrangements: We strongly recommend that diners book a table prior to visiting to avoid disappointment. We have a new marquee in the garden to extend our dining facilities ensuring that we adhere to the social distance measures in place. All menus, including the drinks menu, are single-use.
Cleaning: There will be a significant increase in cleaning throughout the pub to ensure that hygiene levels are maintained at all times. We’ll be cleaning the pub hourly concentrating on touch and hard areas such as door handles, tables etc. We will also have hand sanitiser available for guests to use.
Contact Details - In line with the test and trace process laid out by the government, we will be collecting contact details from all our guests. These will be stored for 21 days and then destroyed securely. Please check our privacy policy for general information on the collection of contact data. We have also clearly displayed the QR code for the track and trace app if you can use this on your smartphone.
Bed and Breakfast Guests.
In addition to the above steps that we are taking, the below details some additional steps for people staying with us.
Pre-arrival checks: Prior to your arrival we will contact you to ask a few pertinent questions to check your health.
Housekeeping and cleaning: All accommodation will be deep cleaned between guests' stays and all linen washed at high temperature. All cleaning of public areas will be more regular than usual. The housekeeping team will not enter your room whilst it is occupied and all papers, magazines and consumables will be removed from the bedrooms.
