Greece is the word

King Prawn and Feta Saganaki

An old favourite has returned to the menu at the Watership Down. King prawn and feta saganaki is already one of the most popular starters on the new menu. The dish is a simple one; prawns are seared in a frying pan before a fresh tomato and oregano sauce is added. The sauce is then finished with feta cheese and served with chargrilled bread. The dish originates in Greece and has been brought to the Watership by our very own Greek chef Billy Vasileiou. Chef Billy says: “This was a dish I learnt to cook when I lived in Greece, and we cook it the same way at the Watership.” Keep an eye on this blog for details of other dishes on our new menu.
